As a final run up to HOY we decided to take Two Led ponies to Masterton and no Ridden The ponies did us proud between them winning every class and quinelled the PBNZ Sash and youngstock Championship NALA ZEPHYRS INSPIRATION won the best presented, yearling, PBNZ Sash, Champion Youngstock and SUPREME LED PONY and his half sister NALA NICHOLAIS SENSATIONAL winner of the Two Year Old class , 2nd PBNZ Sash and Reserve Champion youngstock

The very beautiful NALA EMBLEMS NICHOLETTE (Nettles) made her second appearance under saddlle again ridden superbly by Julie Parkinson- Wylie to win the only Novice class she competed in and claim the Novice Pony Championship her second this season for two outings matching her stable mate Ferns also impressive record four starts in total for four Championships well done Julie for showing off these beautiful young babies

The Stud had an awesome local show starting on the first day when young Ruby Munro piloted Nala Nicholais Holly to win her open and paced and Mannered first ridden pony classes before being awarded the Reserve Championship this combination had a wondererful Nationals winning the 0 to 3 wins class and ending up third in the National Title wonderful for the baby pony. Day Two saw Nala Nicholais Fern win both his Novice class and Novice P&M before being awarded the Championship this truly beautiful Pony is a breeders dream in everyway and he on day Three was Supreme Inhand pony with the Youngstock Championship going to Nala Nicholais Windfall so a truly remarkable show for the homebred stallion NALA MASTER NICHOLAI his stock are so typey and correct

Fifteen wins later Stratrord and Feilding Shows are over NALA ZEPHYRS INSPIRATION took the Championships at both Shows and Supreme and all the PBNZ and NZRP Sashes a really super colt this has turned out to be!! the long awaited second Novice saddle pony to hit the ring happened at Feilding when the hugely typey NALA NICHOLAIS FERN started in just the one class which he won and took the Novice Championship turning a few heads he is simply a very lovely show pony type and worked very well for his first start Well done Julie he looked superb!!

What a terrific day with a win in every class we started in . Starting two ponies for the first time this season NALA EMBLEMS NICHOLETTE took the Adult Led Riding Championship and Supreme Award before Julie having her first outing for the stud today piloted her to win her Novice Class before being awarded the Novice Championship up to 148cm A wonderful day for all concerned and thanks to you all so much. NALA NICHOLAIS WINDFALL had his first yearling start and claimed the Youngstock Championship and to do some extra miles won me the Handler, Best movement ,and Head awards as well super start to his season a super elegant classy pony Thanks to all concerned what a lovely friendly show which I havent attended since 1998.

In attrocious conditions at Manawatu Show the Nala Prefix was certainly to the fore

Congratulations to the Dickons Family first season out in the open ring with NALA WILLOWING ROSE 128cm. Champion 12.2 and SUPREME Ridden Pony wonderful effort and to the Ponies young Half sister NALA NICHOLAIS HOLLY winner of four classes with her wonderful young Rider Ruby Munro ending up Reserve Champion First Ridden Pony and Best Combination and Rider

The Led results were again super with the very beautiful yearling colt NALA ZEPHYRS INSPIRATION the first Zephyr Baby Taking Champion Youngstock Led Pony, PBNZ Sash, and Supreme LED PONY before going on to be awarded the SUPREME LED EXHIBIT ALLBREEDS a very special win for a breeder and adding this title for the eighth year in succession as long as the award has existed.

Following on from an overall Championship with the 10 month old colt Nala Zephyrs Inspiration at Moutoa the weekend before the Youngsters, 1/2 siblings, NALA NICHOLAI’S SENSATIONAL AND NALA ZEPHYRS INSPIRATION after winning their respective age conformation classes quinalled the Youngstock Championship both gaining their HOY tickets and Sensational taking the SUPREME EXHIBIT also winning the presented and movement classes this stunning filly performed like a real pro and was a delight to show. Nala Nicholais Holly with young Ruby Munro in the saddle had a great day ending up Reserve Champion First Ridden Pony and Ruby winning the rider class A very cute combination going extremly well already for a baby pony and young rider well done Ruby

The very beautful and successful Nala Master Nicholai (AI UK) added the quinella to his growing list of achievements when his progeny were awarded first and second in the PBNZ Youngstock Performance Competition with NALA NICHOLAIS SENSATIONAL winning the award this pony also being the current SUPREME INHAND POY at the recent NZ HOY Show 2011. Second going to another daughter this time Ngalaire Mi Light the current Welsh Partbred POY At the NZHOY Show 2011 His progeny are certainly taking major awards very quickly for this young stallion.
